Dr. Kira Toulson (affectionately known as “Dr. K”) received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she developed a special interest in oral surgery and implantology. She went on to complete a comprehensive implant residency and has placed more than 1,000 implants to date.
Dr. Toulson stays well informed on the most recent research and clinical techniques in implant dentistry and uses the most cutting-edge technologies available. This includes 3D imaging to ensure accurate diagnoses and case planning, facial and intraoral scanning to digitally design a smile that fits each patient, and robotics to place implants with the highest level of precision.
Dr. Toulson is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association. She is also a Yomi key opinion leader as well as a Yomi Diamond Doctor of Excellence.
