After receiving his dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Thompson returned to his native Utah and founded NuSmile Dental. He was one of the first dentists in the state to offer computerized operating rooms, digital x-rays, and CAD/CAM crowns.
Dr. Thompson began placing implants in 1998 and soon found his passion for restoring severely debilitated mouths because of its life-changing impact on patients. He now runs a state-of-the-art full-arch implant practice, which includes an in-house lab for 3-D printing full-arch provisionals and zirconia finals. In 2022, he incorporated robotic implant placement to his practice and quickly became one of the highest-volume robotic implant clinicians in the country, typically placing 100+ implants per month. Dr. Thompson is a key opinion leader for the Yomi platform.
